Robson’s foundation, which will continue after his death in July, 2009, will fund cancer research and treatment, a cause always close to his heart, after contracting cancer five times, including inoperable tumors in his lungs, which was finally responsible for his death.

The hope of the foundation is to raise funds for a 12-bed treatment rooms, a laboratory, and consulting rooms for a new Cancer Care Center at Newcastle’s Freeman Hospital, though the foundation has no intention of stopping there.
